All Fiat 500 models will come equipped with turbocharged engines for the 2018 model year that will boost horsepower by 33%, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced.

FCA will equip the Fiat 500 Pop and Lounge with the 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 135 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque for an increase of 34 hp from the 2017 models. FCA will also add the engine to the Abarth and use hardware that will boost power to 160 hp and 183 lb.-ft.

The new lineup debuted at the Chicago Auto Show.

Carryover Fiat models include the battery-electric 500e, 500L, 500X subcompact SUV, and 124 Spider.
