FCA US is recalling 69,298 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles in the 2014-2017 model years because of a potential loss of motive power, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The vehicles involved are all equipped with all-wheel drive. In these cars, the front driveshaft bolts might loosen and allow the front driveshaft to disconnect, NHTSA said. Loss of motive power may result, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace all eight front driveshaft bolts to address the problem. There will be no charge for this service. The recall is expected to begin March 31.

Vehicle owners can reach FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) customer service at (800) 853-1403. The automaker’s number for this recall is T03.
