Norman Lyle has assumed the role of president of EMKAY Canada Fleet Services. His appointment was effective Jan. 6.

He will be responsible for leading EMKAY through its strategic growth plans in Canada, along with the day-to-day leadership of the entire Canadian team. Lyle has previous experience in fleet sales, operations, and lease finance at a global automotive manufacturer.

Lyle will be replacing Paul Turner, who will retire from his position of president of EMKAY Canada in the spring, culminating his 30-plus-year career in the Canadian fleet industry.

During his career, Turner worked with seven major fleet management companies, holding positions in operations, customer service, sales, and senior management. He led EMKAY through the transition period following its acquisition of the major fleet assets of JPL.

Turner will work in parallel with his successor for several months to ensure a smooth transition, according to the company.
