Honda's 2016 CR-V compact SUV will start at $24,475 for the LX model with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission.

Honda will offer the CR-V in five trim levels, including the LX, SE, EX, EX-L, and Touring. The CR-V is also available in all-wheel drive for a $1,300 premium. The top-level model CR-V Touring with AWD starts at $34,125.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has released the 2016 CR-V's fuel economy ratings for the 12 available models. The entry-level CR-V LX with FWD should provide 26 mpg in the city,  33 mpg on the highway, and 29 mpg in combined driving cycles.

In 2013, commercial fleets added 1,407 CR-V SUVs, according to Automotive Fleet data.
