Element Fleet Management has promoted Sébastien Blondin to president for the Canada market, the fleet management company announced.

Blondin has been a regional vice president with Element for Eastern Canada since 2012. He replaces Patricia Furgiuele, who has left the company.

"Sébastien’s forward-thinking approach to customer service and solutions will enable us to even better serve our current and future clients," said Jim Halliday, an Element executive vice president. "He and the Element team will focus on consistently delivering compelling value and a competitive advantage to our customers."

Prior to working at Element, Blondin gained extensive experience in the fleet management industry through increasingly responsible roles at GE Capital and GE Capital Fleet in Canada.
