Hyundai will begin rolling out a highway driving assist system later this year with plans to offer "fully automated driving" by 2030, a senior Hyundai Motor official told the Korea Herald.
The highway driving assist system would keep a vehicle in the lane, maintain a safe distance from the car ahead, and provide a navigation-connected system that provides speed warnings, according to the outlet.
The system could be added to the new version of the Equus full-size sedan, which will be launched in the second half of the year.
