Kia Motors America is recalling 95,314 2010-2013 model-year Kia Soul cars equipped with a sun roof because the headliner plate might detach during a collision that triggers air bag deployment.

The recall affects Soul vehicles manufactured from Jan. 8, 2009, to Oct. 2, 2013, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

The recall is set to begin Feb. 2. Dealers will install industrial adhesive strips to secure the headliner plates, free of charge.

Soul owners can reach Kia at (800) 333-4542. The automaker’s number for this recall is SC112.
