Subaru is offering its EyeSight safety technology package as an option with the redesigned 2015 Impreza compact car among other enhancements to the vehicle, Subaru announced.

The Subaru Impreza also gets a back-up camera as standard equipment across all trim levels, which includes the base, Limited, Premium, and Sport Premium. Subaru offers its 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine with all models and standard all-wheel drive. The Impreza is offered as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback.

The Impreza can be purchased with either a standard five-speed manual transmission or Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). The CVT is standard for the Premium and Limited models.

When equipped with the CVT, the 2015-MY Impreza gets an EPA-rated 28 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 31 mpg combined. With the manual transmission, it gets 25 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined, according to FuelEconomy.gov.
