Ford Motor Co. is producing a right-hand-drive version of the redesigned 2015 Mustang that will be offered in 25 markets including the United Kingdom, Australia, and South Africa.

The sixth-generation model is expected to debut next year. This will be the first time Ford has offered the right-hand-drive configuration. The prototype Mustang will be used to conduct development tests in preparation for the cars entry into the global market.

For Mustang buyers outside of the U.S., Ford is targeting a Mustang equipped with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost. Ford is offering two additional engine offerings with the Mustang, including a 3.7-liter V-6 and 5.0-liter V-8.
