Volkswagen of America is recalling 2,001 2015 model-year Golf and Golf GTI vehicles because the stabilizer link fasteners might loosen and cause steering problems, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

The recall covers vehicles manufactured from Jan. 27 to May 12 of this year.

Volkswagen dealers will replace the front stabilizer links, free of charge, to fix the problem.
