VIDEO: Nissan's 'Tough Love' Van Campaign

Glam-metal band Poison's front man Bret Michaels is declaring his "Endless Love" for Nissan's commercial vans in a new marketing campaign dubbed, "Tough Love."

Michaels provides an updated version of the 1980s power ballad in which he professes his devotion to an NV cargo van. Michaels appears in a series of other videos covering Nissan's testing of the van that included a 140-degree heat chamber, salt spray tunnel, frame twister, shaker machine, pothole test, and brake testing.

Michaels appears at Nissan's Arizona Testing Center, a 3,050-acre facility in Stanfield.

"As one of the newest nameplates in the commercial vehicle segment, we want to bring attention to the operational efficiency of our innovative, durable Nissan NV Cargo, NV Passenger and NV200 Cargo vans — but do it in a way that gets business owners' attention," said Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Nissan Sales and Marketing and Operations.

Nissan has posted the testing spots on YouTube, including "The Heat Chamber," "The Salt Spray Tunnel," "The Frame Twister," "The Brake Test," "The Pothole Test," and "The Shaker Machine."
