Wheels, Inc., has been named a finalist in three categories for the 2014 American Business Awards (also known as The Stevies).

Wheels' new website made the shortlist for Best Web Writing/Content, while the company's Results+ performance management methodology received a nod in one of the Best New Product or Service categories. The Wheels Client Analytics group was also named a finalist for Support Team of the Year.

Wheels completed an extensive renovation of its public website in 2013.  The new site features enhanced navigation, content and graphics that are designed to provide enhanced levels of usability.

Wheels also refined and branded its longstanding strategic account management approach in 2013. Now known as Results+, the company's award-winning performance management methodology focuses on short-and long-term strategic account plans that are customized to fit each client's specific needs.

While Results+ entails a big-picture focus on ensuring continuous improvement for each customer's fleet, it can also be used to drive success for the individual elements of a client's servicing profile. This is accomplished through new Results+ modules, which are data-driven, client-specific work products that provide strategic guidance and results mapping on focused fleet topics, such as fuel, risk and remarketing.

Wheels complemented its Results+ initiative with a sweeping staff realignment that fosters a more synergistic relationship between Wheels' behind-the-scenes Client Analytics team and its client-facing account managers. By focusing on direct collaboration between the two teams, Wheels created a process that streamlines the way each client's fleet data is generated, analyzed, and communicated, according to the company.

The realignment has helped streamline a number of existing data analytics processes at Wheels while also paving the way for a host of new applications, according to a release. Among these is a new Vehicle Replacement Analysis tool that uses current automotive resale market performance data to help the company accurately forecast replacement economics and optimize vehicle replacement schedules for its clients.

More than 3,300 nominations will face final judging by May 22. Stevie winners will be announced at events on June 13 in Chicago and Sept. 12 in San Francisco.
