Nissan has revamped the body styling of its 2015 Murano midsize SUV, giving it a bold, edgier look that includes the automaker's new V-motion design concept.

Nissan will debut the new Murano at the New York International Auto Show beginning April 18. An April 16 press conference has been scheduled.

The Murano is the first Nissan vehicle to get the automaker's new V-motion front end, as well as LED boomerang lights and a "floating" roof. Interior design has been refreshed as well with a lower-height instrument panel, wider center console, NASA-inspired front seating, and larger windows.

The 2015 Murano will be offered in four trim levels when it goes on sale in late 2014.
