New Zealand Energy Company to Build Biodiesel Facility

Z Energy plans to spend $21 million to build a biodiesel production facility in New Zealand's capital city of Wellington.

Z Energy plans to use tallow as feedstock for the new plant, which would use about 10 percent of the country's inedible tallow.

Wellington's mayor told Biodiesel Magazine she hopes to expand the city's use of the alternative fuel for the civic fleet and bus network.
