September 16, 2013

The Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association has named its new officers for 2013. AFLA named John Dmochowsky of Mondelez International as its new president. Dmochowsky’s term will run from September 2013 to September 2014. Outgoing President Tom Callahan passed the gavel to Dmochowsky at the AFLA annual conference held September 10-13, 2013, at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.

“I am honored to serve as AFLA’s President,” Dmochowsky said. “I look forward to working closely with other board members to maintain and enhance the high quality of AFLA’s educational programs and member services.”

Next, AFLA named Brian Barber of LeasePlan USA as its executive vice president at the AFLA annual conference. Barber had been AFLA’s vice president. The executive vice president will become president in September, 2014, and will serve a one-year term, according to AFLA.

“It’s a real privilege and honor to be AFLA’s Executive Vice President,” Barber said. “AFLA has a strong history of great service to its members and I look forward to contributing to its mission.”
