Infiniti announced that its full-size luxury SUV, the QX56, took top class honors in AutoPacific's annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) in the Luxury/Large SUV Segment.
The AutoPacific VSAs are different from other automotive awards that rely solely on subjective feedback or measurement of initial quality and reliability and exclude owner satisfaction. Instead, AutoPacific focuses on polling actual owners to determine how satisfied they are with both their ownership and driving experiences.

Beyond honoring the QX56, AutoPacific also cited the significant gains Infiniti made as a brand in overall satisfaction across its full line of performance oriented premium coupes, sedans, crossovers and SUVs. Year-over-year, Infiniti jumped ten spots among all manufacturers polled by the automotive marketing and product-consulting firm.
"We're incredibly pleased to be recognized by AutoPacific, both for the QX56 and Infiniti's overall satisfaction improvements," said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Americas. "Today's announcement speaks volumes about the men and women who have committed themselves to Infiniti's Total Ownership Experience. From manufacturing to design, all the way through purchase and aftersales, we have a dedicated group of individuals working as a team to provide compelling products and outstanding service. They should all be incredibly proud of their hard work."
"Vehicles that score highest in the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are delivering value and satisfaction across a wide range of attributes," said George Peterson, president, AutoPacific. "The winners perform well in 51 separate categories that objectively measure the ownership experience."
In its current design, the QX56 is unique among full-size luxury SUVs. Combining premium accompaniments like a 13-speaker Bose audio system, with safety systems that include Moving Object Display (MOD) and a 360-degree around view monitor, the QX56 also has a rugged practicality that comes with a 400-horsepower 5.6-liter V8 engine capable of hauling up to eight passengers and towing up to 8,500 pounds.
