Toyota to Re-start Overtime Production at North American Plants

November 10, 2011

TORRANCE, CA – Toyota announced it plans to start its planned overtime vehicle production at its North American plants again starting during the week of November 14. The automaker also said it scheduled Saturday production on Nov. 19 for its Indiana and Canada vehicle plants.

This comes after suspending overtime production since Oct. 31. The company said that the situation in Thailand is still changing, and that it will adjust production as needed.

Based on parts availability, daily production continues for North American vehicle plants and we return to planned overtime production for the week of November 14.

Saturday, November 19 production is scheduled for our Indiana and Canada vehicle plants.
