ALPHARETTA, GA – Nationwide premium service provider of fleet management solutions, LeasePlan USA, has been named one of Atlanta’s Best Places to Work for 2011 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. LeasePlan was one of 30 companies ranked in the medium-sized company category.

“Our employees are some of the most passionate and dedicated people in the business, and this honor would not have been possible without them. I am extremely proud to be a part of this company because we truly are a ‘Best Place to Work’,” said Mike Pitcher, president and CEO.

Each year, the Chronicle, in partnership with Quantum Workplace, surveys the metro area's employers to find Atlanta's Best Places to Work. This year, readers nominated 482 companies and organizations. Quantum then surveyed employees at participating companies and organizations, using analytical tools to rank the top 100 employers in three categories: large, medium-sized and small employer. Results are based solely on the voice of employees.

This award comes on the heels of many other significant award wins for LeasePlan this year. Earlier this year, the company was named to the Crain’s Chicago Business “Best Places to Work” list, ranked the #1 Mid-Sized Workplace in Atlanta by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, received “Elite” status as one of “Atlanta’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” and named one of “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” for the fifth consecutive year, earning “Elite” status in the Recognition and Retention Category.
