January 25, 2011- Press Release

ITASCA, IL - EMKAY Inc. announced today that they are the proud recipients of the Highly Commended Award by the 2010 International Service Excellence Awards. Awarded by the Customer Service Institute of America, this is a most honorable distinction that is reserved to specially note those companies that meet the International Customer Service Standard set by the International Council of Customer Service Organizations.

The Customer Service Institute of America (CSIA) is the body delegated by International Council of Customer Service Organizations (ICCSO) to manage the 2010 International Service Excellence Awards. These awards are the world’s peak customer service awards with leading customer service organizations and individuals around the globe being nominated in a variety in categories to recognize their commitment to customer service excellence. These awards are sought after by government, not-for-profit and for-profit organizations of all sizes and across all industries globally.

“This year’s winners are truly people focused organizations; working with an eye to make the world better, not their bottom line,” states Christine Churchill, Executive Director of the Customer Service Institute of America and Head Judge for ICCSO’s International Service Excellence Awards.

“We are honored to have been recognized with this most prestigious mention,” stated Chris Tepas, Chief Marketing Officer for EMKAY. “It is inspiring to see our entire organization as one of the only seven other winners globally.”
