Goodyear to Hike Tire Prices Up to 6%

AKRON, OHIO - Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will raise tire prices up to 6 percent on Oct. 1, reported Modern Tire Dealer.

The increase will encompass all of Goodyear's consumer tire brands, including Goodyear, Dunlop, and Kelly, said a Goodyear spokesman.

Escalating raw material costs continue to drive the price hikes, according to MTD.
