Cooper Announces Price Increase

FINDLAY, OHIO - Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. will increase tire prices up to 10 percent in October, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

Cooper CFO Phil Weaver announced the decision on Aug. 4, during a conference call to discuss Cooper's second quarter results.

He did not specify which lines will be affected.
