Goodyear will Hike Passenger & Light Truck Tire Prices

January 8, 2008

AKRON, OHIO - Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will raise prices on all of its passenger and light truck tires up to seven percent, effective Feb. 1.

Increases will be for all Goodyear, Kelly and Dunlop brand tires sold in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

A Goodyear spokesman says the company is hiking prices due to escalating raw material, transportation and other costs.
