Former Chrysler VP of Fleet & Remarketing Retires

AUBURN HILLS, MI – Christine Cortez, senior vice president – global service and parts, retired from Chrysler Corp., capping a 31-year career with the automaker. Cortez was vice president, fleet & remarketing for DaimlerChrysler from 1999 to April 2001.

She was promoted to senior vice president of parts and service for DaimlerChrysler Corp. She was subsequently named senior VP of Parts and Service, which was her last position prior to retirement. Cortez started as a management trainee at Chrysler Corp. in 1976.
