Safety-Kleen Increases Fleet by 140 Units with Acquisition

PLANO, TEXAS – Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. has acquired the business of Advanced Liquid Recycling, Inc., headquartered in Meriden, Conn., a collector and recycler of used oil, oil filters, and antifreeze.

Advanced business also includes parts cleaner sales and service, and the manufacture and distribution of “Visible Solutions” windshield washer fluid.

The Advanced acquisition adds three facilities in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire to the Safety-Kleen network, as well as more than 160 experienced personnel and a fleet of 140 vehicles.

For more than 16-years, Advanced has provided a range of collection and recycling services for used oil and oil filters, as well as parts cleaners and windshield washer fluids, to more than 6,000 customer locations in the Northeast.
