December 11, 2007

HACKENSACK, N.J. – Hankook Tire America Corp. is raising prices by up to 5 percent on its full line of passenger, high performance, and light truck tires, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

The amount of the increase will vary by product line and/or size. The increases will take effect Jan. 1, 2008.

Hankook said the price increases “reflect rising costs in raw materials as well as higher costs in transportation and general operating expenses.”
