Mike Albert Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Open House

October 23, 2007

CINCINNATI – Mike Albert will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with an Open House on Wed., Nov. 14, from 4–8 p.m. The event’s theme is “green,” and the open house will feature several alternative-fuel vehicle displays. Vintage vehicles significant to the success of the company will also be on display.

The company’s history dates back to 1928 when Mike Albert established a used-car dealership in Cincinnati. The company entered the leasing business in 1957 as a way to generate used vehicles to sell, and, over the years, the leased fleet continued to grow. In 1957, current CEO Robert Betagole acquired the business from his uncle, Mike Albert, and he and his family continue to operate and manage the business today. Betagole’s daughter, Marty Betagole, is the company’s president, and his sons, Richard and John Betagole, serve as vice presidents.

The celebration will take place at the corporate office, located at 10340 Evendale Drive in Cincinnati.
