Auto Driveaway Celebrates 55 Years at its Annual Convention

CHICAGO– Chicago, Ill., was the site of Auto Driveaway’s 2007 annual convention, an event held yearly to review and establish goals for the oncoming driveaway year. A total of 35 of Auto Driveaway’s agent-owners were in attendance. Highlights included a tour of the new corporate headquarters, located in Chicago’s Loop, previewing a newly developed company Web site that will involve customer interaction, as well as the introduction of Rodney Ruth as new president and Jim Leddy as VP.

Celebrating 55 years in the driveaway industry, the company recognized the anniversary years of several of its agent-owners, remarking on their many years of service to the organization and its customers. John Muller, agent-owner of the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office, celebrates 35 years of service; Mac Perkinson, Richmond, Va., 30 years; Paul Schultz, Grand Rapids, Mich., 15 years; and Dennis Schumaker, Detroit, Mich., Roy McKuhen, Nashville, Tenn., Barbara Lynch, Saint Louis, Mo., and Scott and Jennifer Allen, Salt Lake City, Utah, all 10 years of service.
