INGOLSTADT, GERMANY – Audi has redesigned the new A4’s chassis and upgraded the interior, two of the car’s most apparent gains, according to AutoWeek. The model is also six inches longer than its predecessor. It will be equipped with a 3.2-liter V-6 that generates 265 hp. Audi has moved the front axle forward that half-foot, which greatly balances the ride, making it feel less front-end heavy than the current model, according to AutoWeek. The vehicle goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds. The new A4 made its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show Sept. 11. The 2009-model is expected to be on sale in the United States by fall 2008.
