INGOLSTADT, GERMANY – Audi has redesigned the new A4’s chassis and upgraded the interior, two of the car’s most apparent gains, according to AutoWeek
. The model is also six inches longer than its predecessor. It will be equipped with a 3.2-liter V-6 that generates 265 hp. Audi has moved the front axle forward that half-foot, which greatly balances the ride, making it feel less front-end heavy than the current model, according to AutoWeek
. The vehicle goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds. The new A4 made its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show Sept. 11. The 2009-model is expected to be on sale in the United States by fall 2008.
