Cooper Announces Retail Tire Price Hike

FINDLAY, OHIO – Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. will raise passenger and light truck tire prices up to four percent, effective Oct. 1. Prices will vary across lines, said a Cooper spokesperson.

“All customers are affected,” the spokesperson said, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

Earlier this week, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. announced it will raise prices on its consumer products by 3.5 percent on Oct. 1. Continental Tire North America Inc. will raise its consumer tire prices on Oct. 1 as well.
