AUBURN HILLS, MI – Audi held their 2007 Fleet event September 11-12, showcasing the Audi A6 and Q7 vehicles, also on hand were an R8 and RS4. Approximately 30 fleet managers were in attendance.

The event began with a reception at the St. Regis Hotel in Dana Point, Calif., followed with a business meeting and dinner. Speakers at the business meeting were Mike Antich, Automotive Fleet; Matthew Betz, AmeriFleet; Ross Friedmann, Audi; and Dave Wurster, Vincentric.

Topics discussed included current trends in fleet management as well as forecasts for 2008, fleet safety and the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety, Audi fleet sales and key points on the A6 and Q7, and lifecycle cost analysis.

The following day began with a street drive from the hotel to the California Speedway, where track activities were held such as hot laps with the R8 and RS4 around the main oval track and part of the road course, an obstacle course for the A6 and Q7, and parallel parking using only the back-up-camera.
