DEARBORN, MI – Ford Motor Company has selected ChannelNet to create the next generation of Ford’s business-to-business Fleet Web site. Ford’s Fleet business accounts for about 30 percent of the auto giant’s domestic sales. ChannelNet utilized a User Centered Design approach to develop FleetFord.com. The initial research for the fleet site told ChannelNet that Ford’s diverse business customers had specific needs based upon their size, industry, and type of uses they have for vehicles. ChannelNet has been working with Ford for 22 years creating interactive marketing and sales tools on CD-ROM in the days before the Internet, and then designing and launching all of Ford’s customer facing Web sites in 1995.
