Dahmer Powertrain Streamlines its Business with LeasePlan USA's eRepair

ST. LOUIS – Dahmer Powertrain, Inc., a wholesaler of vehicle components, has simplified its quoting and ordering process with eRepair, LeasePlan’s interactive vendor authorization and billing software. “eRepair was designed to streamline the authorization and billing process for service repairs, eliminating unnecessary phone calls to LeasePlan’s maintenance department. It gives vendors the ability to validate vehicle ownership, enter repair estimates and receive authorization electronically,” said David Jankiewicz, director, maintenance and repair management for LeasePlan. Since 2004, Dahmer Powertrain has provided hundreds of powertrain components to LeasePlan’s vehicle fleet. With the inception of eRepair, Dahmer Powertrain has managed to save significant time during the quoting and ordering process. “Before eRepair, we had to send a monthly statement with a copy of each invoice to LeasePlan. Now, the process is completely electronic and automatic after each order is placed. In the past, we spent hours on a monthly basis reconciling the account, now it takes five minutes and billing defects have been eliminated,” said Allyn Jones, special account manager for Dahmer Powertrain.
