Progressive Brings Commercial Auto Coverage to Massachusetts Business Owners

MAYFIELD, OHIO – Drive Commercial Auto, part of The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, now offers commercial auto insurance to Massachusetts business owners through its independent agent network. Progressive sells Commercial Auto coverage direct to businesses in other states, but this option is not currently available in Massachusetts, according to the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA).According to the Group, its Commercial Auto business has grown an average of about 18 percent per year over the past four years. Progressive specializes in insuring small fleets for new and established businesses and provides competitively priced coverage for most commercial drivers and vehicle types, including delivery vans, passenger cars, tow trucks, and dump trucks. With its entry into Massachusetts, Drive Commercial Auto business is now available in all states, except Hawaii. There are about 50 agencies throughout Massachusetts authorized to sell Drive Commercial Auto.
