Panasonic Switches Fleet Buy to Audi for 2007-MY

December 5, 2006

SECAUCUS, N.J. – Panasonic has switched its 740-unit sales and executive fleet to Audi models, according to Frank Memolo, fleet manager.“We were asked to create excitement for the sales program and began looking at all the possibilities,” said Memolo. He started working on the executive-level fleet vehicles and “crunched the numbers looking at total cost of ownership.”Based on Audi’s competitive incentive offering and strong projected residual values, Memolo was surprised that not only were Audi models a cost-effective choice for Panasonic executive vehicles, but also for the standard company car selection.
