Sohm Named LDS Fleet Director to Succeed Jeffs

SALT LAKE CITY - Dallan Sohm is now fleet director for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City. For the past 20 years, Sohm managed the Global Travel Operations for the LDS Church. As fleet director, Sohm manages a fleet of more than 11,000 vehicles. He succeeded Harry Jeffs, who will retire on Dec. 29, 2006. Jeffs has been involved in the Church's worldwide fleet for the past 24 years. As fleet director, Jeffs instigated significant changes and improvements to the global fleet operation. Jeffs has traveled the world in his assignment and established fleet management processes in many countries.
