Front and Rear Modification to Reduce Height of GMC Topkick/Chevrolet Kodiak

November 27, 2006

MONROE, WI – Monroe Truck Equipment (MTE) now offers a General Motors front and rear suspension modification for the GMC Topkick/Chevrolet Kodiak C4500/5500 to reduce overall vehicle height. The MTE So-Low Suspension package reduces the front body height by two inches and the rear body height by four inches. This modification includes a rear air, axle air suspension for enhanced ride quality and maximum passenger and/or cargo comfort. A kneeling function incorporated into the air suspension allows an additional two inches of rear body height reduction with the kneeling function activated. The MTE So-Low suspension modification reduces overall entry heights (ambulance and bus), as well as reducing overall ride height (pickup and tow vehicles).
