ISELIN, NJ – Gordon Bethune, the former CEO and chairman of the Board credited for turning around Continental Airlines, will address NAFA’s 2007 FMI-LEG Conference and Exposition May 6, 2007. Under Bethune’s leadership, Continental turned itself around to become a respected and reliable carrier. Bethune will highlight how he was able to accomplish this feat and draw parallels to what the U.S. auto industry needs to do to right its woes. A book signing of Gordon Bethune’s book, From Worst to First: Behind the Scenes of Continental's Remarkable Comeback, will take place in the exhibit hall immediately following the presentation. The FMI-LEG Conference and Exposition will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, May 5-8, 2007. To reflect NAFA’s 50th anniversary, the conference theme will be “Experience Golden Opportunities.”
