Driveitaway Clarifies Market Position

October 24, 2006

PHILADELPHIA – Within days of launching a new platform, redesigned and customized to accommodate the specific needs of rental car clients, Driveitaway reports that its new focus and transition may have caused some confusion in the marketplace.“We see emerging off-rental car redistribution as the single largest opportunity in the remarketing landscape right now and for many years to come, with more ‘risk’ units being introduced into the market than in more than a decade, as manufacturers cut down on their repurchase programs,” said John Possumato, founder of Driveitaway, “so we made the recent decision to redirect our resources to fully concentrate and service this sector of the business. We are sorry if we did not clearly communicate our new ‘total focus’ approach and platform migration.”
