– Donlen Corp. has opened a new call center facility for maintenance advisors in Darien. “The new location is 30-percent larger than our previous office in Burr Ridge,” according to Dave Lodding, senior vice president of Donlen Fleet Management Services. “The new facility utilizes Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and is completely integrated with our primary call center in Northbrook.” According to Mid-America Research, Inc., Donlen has the lowest call center hold times among its competitors. Lodding said the Darien site helps ensure the continuation of this service.“Our choice of a new facility in Darien was based on finding a centralized location for our employees,” Lodding said. “Employees are offered the choice of either office based on the location of their home, thus reducing their commuting time.” In addition to the new call center facility, the Darien office features an employee fitness center. The company’s commitment to employee wellness continues the standard set in the headquarters facility in Northbrook.
