Ryder Launches New Technology to Streamline Management of Fleet Data, Analysis, and Reporting

MIAMI – Ryder System, Inc. is launching Ryder FleetCare, a Web-based fleet management tool that provides customers with access to information regarding the operation of their fleets. After successful testing in real-world conditions with Ryder customers, the company has initiated a U.S. rollout through the fourth quarter of 2006.Ryder FleetCare offers secure, immediate Internet access to a variety of performance metrics such as vehicle maintenance schedules, service calls, vehicle rental activity, and fuel purchases. Reports can be customized and sorted to analyze information by location or vehicle.
