Fleet Manager Turns Author

FT. MYERS, FL – Marilyn Rawlings, fleet manager for Lee County Fleet Management in Ft. Myers, has authored a work management book entitled “Painting Penguins Green: The Art of Developing a Creative Workforce,” published in March. “The book is designed to provide both the employee and the team leader with tried and true ideas for energizing a group of employees and adding some excitement to a hum-drum workplace,” said Rawlings. “The ideas in the book, which evolved over 10 years, were generated primarily by employees helped transform Lee County Fleet Management from a boring and average workplace to one of the best in the nation.” The book is available for purchase on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.
