Chrysler Group to Offer More Four-Cylinder Models

June 26, 2006

AUBURN HILLS, MI – The Chrysler Group will offer more small-engine versions of its cars and trucks, starting with two new models with standard four-cylinder engines by the end of this year, according to President and CEO Tom LaSorda. The company also is considering using four-cylinder versions of vehicles that now use only larger engines. Also a consideration is adding a subcompact to compete with new models such as the Toyota Yaris.
