Saturn Migration to VOM Completed

May 30, 2006

DETROIT – Effective Apr. 18, 2006, Saturn migrated to General Motors Dealer Information Data Base (GMDID), Vehicle Order Management (VOM), and Customer Delivery Reporting (CDR). Major fleet customers now have the capability to place Saturn orders directly through VOM or VUI, utilizing a secondary dealer code. Saturn orders will share the same event code sequence and order tracking status process as with all other GM products. This migration allows Saturn to interact more effectively within GM and provides an opportunity for improved customer service by reducing the amount of manual intervention.
