Mercury Milan, Lincoln Navigator Named in Vehicle Satisfaction Award Study

May 30, 2006

DEARBORN, MI – A study released by automotive consulting firm AutoPacific Inc. has named the Lincoln Navigator as the vehicle with the highest overall customer satisfaction among 2006 models, and the Mercury Milan as the mid-size sedan of choice among customers surveyed. AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) study is an industry benchmark for measuring how satisfied an owner is with their new car or light truck. This study calculates owner satisfaction across 44 specific areas related to a vehicle’s operation, comfort, safety, and the overall purchase/lease experience. The 2006 ratings reflect input from buyers and lessees of new vehicles acquired Sept. 2005 through Jan. 2006. AutoPacific described the Milan as a “clear winner” among the mid-size competition, providing owners a “very satisfying experience.” As for Navigator, AutoPacific said, “Navigator achieves its class leading status with an industry benchmark interior, full fold flat rear seating, tasteful styling and a great performing V-8.”
