Wagoner of Philips Medical Systems Wins Upstream Remarketer of the Year Award at CAR 2006

Charlie Vogelheim (left), master of ceremonies for the Conference of Automotive Remarketing, congratulates Gage Wagoner, fleet manager for Philips Medical Systems, on receiving the 2006 Upstream Remarketer of the Year Award, presented by Bobit Business Media and LAS VEGAS – Bobit Business Media hosted the 11th annual Conference of Automotive Remarketing March 8-10, 2006, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, attracted more than 500 industry attendees to discuss the latest trends in vehicle remarketing. Highlighting CAR was the presentation of the Upstream Remarketer of the Year award, presented to Gage Wagoner of Philips Medical Systems by Bobit Business Media and Keynoters David Gartzke, chairman, president, and CEO of ADESA, and Eric Overby, remarketing industry researcher from Emory University, headlined the show. Topics included changes in remarketing channels, physical versus virtual auctions, trends inform banks and captives, and the overall market landscape and strategies. Other award winners included Southern Auto Auction owner Larry Tribble, Remarketer of the Year, and Dave Langley, manager of vehicle remarketing for American Honda Financial Services, was named Consignor of the Year.
