PHH Arval Collision Repair Group Achieves Platinum Accreditation

January 17, 2006

SPARKS, MD – PHH Arval’s Vehicle Accident Services division, which manages collisions for hundreds of thousands of corporate fleet vehicles, has achieved Platinum Professionals Accreditation from the Inter Industry Conference on Automotive Repairs (I-CAR). All team members involved in assessing, authorizing, and negotiating accident claims and repairs on behalf of PHH clients have gained Platinum-level status. I-CAR’s program is specifically designed to enhance technical understanding of best practices in collision repair, effectively reducing costs and promoting post-collision performance and safety. In June 2005, PHH’s Vehicle Accident Services team achieved Gold Class status from I-CAR. The additional training courses and programs required for Platinum accreditation ensure that these collision experts have the most comprehensive and up-to-date information needed to repair the latest vehicle designs and structure. Each of the individuals must re-qualify for Platinum status every two years. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair. I-CAR’s Gold Class Professionals program was created in 1990 to recognize businesses that are committed to quality and excellence through proper collision repair training. The Platinum accreditation is awarded to individuals who have achieved 100 percent of the training requirements.
