Ford Unveils 2007 Expedition and All-New Extended Length Expedition EL

DEARBORN, MI – Ford’s new 2007 Expedition and all-new, extended-length Expedition EL fea-tures a bolder design and more toughness, capability, and interior refinement. The new Expedition can tow up to 9,100 lbs., and the Expedition EL offers 24 additional cubic feet of cargo area behind the third-row seat. The new Expedition also features a stiffer frame and second-generation independent rear suspension for improved driving dynamics. The rear suspension makes room for the most spacious and flexible third-row seat in the segment. Expedition also offers more comfort and customizability with three distinct series inspired by the Ford F-150 interior design. Standard safety features include Ford Motor Company’s exclusive AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control).
