Production of All-New 2007 Explorer Sport Trac to Begin Jan. 20, 2006

DEABORN, MI — The all-new 2007 Explorer Sport Trac is now available to order. The production of Explorer Sport Trac will start Jan. 30, 2006. Vehicle highlights include:
  • Composite cargo box with two-tier storage ability, available hard tonneau cover, and three integrated tool and gear bins with drain plugs.
  • Interior rubber floor covering, available amenities such as leather seats, SIRIUS radio, and class-exclusive heated windshield.
  • New 3-valve V-8 engine option delivering 292 hp and an upgraded V-6.
  • New frame, which is 444% stiffer than the previous model, and a new independent rear suspension for refined ride and handling.
  • Designed to meet safety requirements through 2010, offers standard AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control and adaptive safety features.
