American Leak Detection Selects Teletrac as its Preferred Vendor for Automated Vehicle Location Systems

GARDEN GROVE, CA — American Leak Detection, headquartered in Palm Springs, Calif. recently named Teletrac, Inc. as a preferred vendor for automated vehicle location and fleetmanagement systems. American Leak Detection is a franchise system with over 150 offices located in the U.S. and internationally.Teletrac’s global positioning system satellites and terrestrial-based wireless networks to pinpoint vehicle locations and enable real-time, two-way messaging between dispatchers and technicians. The collected information is then delivered to customers via the Internet. Besides providing vehicle location data, the retained information serves as the source for the generation of a full spectrum of fleet management information reports.In addition to vehicle tracking, two-way, real-time communication, and operating data, FleetDirector can be programmed to provide an alert if a vehicle is being operated during unauthorized periods or is being operated outside of a predetermined geographical boundary area.
