5.4L V-8 Flex Fuel Engine Now Available for 2006-Model F-150

DEARBORN, MI — The Ford F-150 5.4L V-8 is now available with the 5.4L Flexible Fuel (E-85) engine. This engine is being launched with December production and is capable of operating on gasoline, E-85 (a blend of ethanol and gasoline), or any mix of the two fuels. There is no extra charge for the 5.4L E-85 Flexible Fuel (FFV) powertrain. Horsepower and torque ratings are identical to the 5.4L gasoline engine and maintenance scheduled and cost are identical to the 5.4L gasoline engine.
